EVERYTHING IS A MAQUETTE

 ‘EVERYTHING IS A MAQUETTE’ The title for this  proposal comes from an idea that everything which has gone before has led to the current point. I would like to apply for the opportunity to reside within the space for a period of two weeks. Either 19th February – 4 th March or alternatively a two-week period from the start of May – 10th June to fit around other artists proposals.  Using the opportunity to work in an uncluttered environment where the focus is my practice. I see it as an opportunity to make an excavation – a peeling back and revealing of the work and research. To see what connections can be made from past works and how I come to be at this moment, where I find myself.  Like a giant inversion. Much of the work exists ‘on-line’ across social media platforms blog etc, therefore are transient and ephemeral things existing in digital space, I propose to bring in a printer and make these works a visible tangible and physical thing, through collage – v...

Starting to research and think about my upcoming residency later in the year.
