Studio

The work is progressing - there are a number of elements to be installed - keeping all of  them in mind as I make decisions is a challenge. However - things are under control and I feel it will come together conceptually.  Once all the works are together before installation I will make final curatorial decisions regarding placement. Here are a couple of images of the space -it is large and there is a huge amount of glass-just like a giant empty Vitrine.

I am happy to report my selection into the first round of the 'Graduate Platform Award 2015' - Myself and eleven other recent graduates from art schools and universities in the South East have been nominated by ASPEX Gallery. The start of the process has begun and my degree show work will be included in a group show at the Gallery running through October. I have been invited to create a new body of work to be shown in September. The space for installation is large and quite complicated - a great opportunity though! Today it starts - approaching as usual - by photographing, reflecting and making my decisions through the viewing of the images. Saturday just gone - I attended a day conference at the Freud Museum in London.
